We only had one incoming recruit in action this week. Leo DeLuca of Blair Academy competed at Sami for the Belt in East Orange, New Jersey.
DeLuca did not spend much time on the mat. He recorded five pins in under a minute to win the title at 120 lbs.
Starting with the first round DeLuca had pins in :45, :45. :53, :23 before getting a pin in the finals in :54. Impressive.
Our recruits will be back in competition right after the first of the year for the weekend of January 6th.
As I have done for years I will continue to post a blog on Friday of where our incoming recruits will be competing for the weekend and a follow up blog with results.
