Seeds for NWCA National Duals in Cedar Falls this weekend have been released. In the NCAA Women’s Freestyle division Iowa is seeded #2.
With the current seeds Iowa would face #7 Presbyterian in the first round. The Hawks defeated Presbyterian 44-1 at the Trail Blazer Duals in Iowa City on November 12.
The potential semifinal matchup for Iowa would be #3 seed King, the two-time defending Freestyle Team Champions.
North Central is the #1 seed.
In the NWCA/NCAA Women’s Coaches Rankings for individuals and tournament released yesterday Iowa was #1, North Central #2, and King #3.
The competition will be Friday and Saturday, January 5-6 at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
