The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) announced their NCAA Women’s Scholar All-American awards.
The NWCA recognized student-athletes that excel in both academics and athletics.
Eight members of the University of Iowa were named for this honor.

Emilie Gonzalez
Lilly Luft
Felicity Taylor
Kylie Welker
Haley Ward
Bayless, E. Gonzalez, Taylor and Welker were NCWWC National champions this season. B. Gonzalez was a national runner-up and Luft placed fifth.
The Iowa Hawkeyes won the NCWWC national title in the first year of competition for the program.
Congratulations to all of the Hawkeyes that are getting it done on the mat and in the classroom.
