We had two incoming recruits competing this weekend. Joe Kennedy competed at State Duals on Thursday and the Minnesota State Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
Kennedy was 2-1 at State Duals competing at 152 and 160 where Kasson-Mantorville placed second in AA. Kennedy placed third at 152 at AA State.
Val Solorio pinned her way through the 100 lbs. bracket at the West Regional. Solorio recorded pins in just :24 and :16 before winning by fall in the finals in 3:04.
Solorio will compete next weekend in the first ever PIAA Girls Championships in Hershey.
