In the final weekend of the high school season for our incoming recruits Val Solorio won a state title. Solorio was 4-0 with four pins to win a state title at 100 lbs. in the first ever PIAA Girls Wrestling Championships in Pennsylvania history.
Solorio recorded a fall in 1:23, :37 and 1:06 before winning by a fall in 3:14 over Grace Nesbitt of Central Dauphin in the finals.
Solorio was ranked #3 at 100 lbs. in the National Girls High School Rankings for February
