We have the opening weekend of high school wrestling across the country. I am excited as always to bring you the schedule and results of incoming Iowa Wrestling recruits.
This season will have a national influence with incoming recruits from New York City to California.
Looking at the schedules I will be challenged to get timely results this season compared to the past.
Recruiting is my passion for Iowa Wrestling and I will do my best to bring you results here on my Iowa Wrestling Fan Blog.
Elite recruit Leo DeLuca is out with an injury and will not be competing this weekend.
#1 nationally ranked Isabella Marie Gonzales will have good competition at the RM Parks Invitational in Porterville, California on Friday and Saturday.
Ty and Jarrel Miller will be competing at the Ironman in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. This is without a doubt the toughest regular season high school tournament every year. Jarrel was the only wrestler from Ohio to win a title at Ironman last year.
Bishop McCort High School is listed to be at Ironman for Owen McMullen who was not in the lineup for dual meets earlier this week.
Angelo Ferrari was named Outstanding Wrestler last year at the Ironman.
FloWrestling will have full coverage of the Ironman on their premium service.
