The Iowa Hawkeyes remained ranked #1 in the NWCA NCAA Women’s Coaches Poll. Iowa is #1 with 120 points followed by King at 86 and North Central with 85.
The Hawks have five wrestlers that remained ranked #1: Rianne Murphy(103), Brianna Gonzalez(117), Reese Larramendy(145), Kylie Welker(180), and Jaycee Foeller(207).
Also ranked for Iowa: Sterling Dias(#2-103), Emilie Gonzalez(#5-110), Skye Realin(#6-131), Nanea Estrella(#3-138), Macey Kilty(#3-145), Kennedy Blades (#2-160), Naomi Simon(#7-180) and Katja Osteen (#5-207).
At 145 Macey Kilty makes her debut in the rankings at #3. Emily Frost(131) and Ella Schmit(145) dropped out of the rankings.
I have to point out that Kilty won bronze recently at the 2024 Senior World Championships and silver in 2023 yet she is ranked #3 at 145 in college.
Kennedy Blades won silver at the Olympics this summer but is ranked #2 at 160.
Iowa has not had a wrestler ranked at 124 this season.

Iowa will compete next at Soldiers Salute in Coralville, Iowa on Sunday and Monday, December 29-30.
Iowa will compete at home one more time this season with Iowa Duals II on Saturday, January 18. The Hawks will face Augustana and Grand View State starting at 6 PM.
