Our incoming recruits had a solid weekend of competition.
Leo DeLuca and Ty Miller were at Tri Duals hosted by Lakeland High School in Orlando, Florida on Saturday.
DeLuca won by a 17-2 tech fall over Lakeland and an 11-1 major decision over St. Ed’s. Ty Miller lost by a medical forfeit against Lakeland.
Harvey Ludington had three dual meets over Friday and Saturday. He recorded a pin in just :10, went up to 215 and won by a 17-2 tech fall in :44 and won by a 16-6 major decision.
Paolo Ciatto placed third at 170 with a 5-1 record at Eastern States in Clifton Park on Friday and Saturday.
Isabella Gonzales and Samantha Sachs both won titles at the 25 Annual Napa Valley Girls Classic in Napa on Friday and Saturday. This is a massive tournament that had 186 teams compete.
Gonzales was 6-0 with six first period pins to win the crown at 120. Cannot do any better than that. Sachs won it at 130 with a 6-0 record with three pins, two tech falls, and a major decision.
