InterMat released updated rankings this morning. Iowa remained #2 in the Tournament Rankings and #3 in the Dual Rankings.

For Dual Rankings it remained Penn State-Oklahoma State-Iowa-Northern Iowa. The Tournament Rankings remained the same with Penn State-Iowa-Oklahoma State-Nebraska.

From last week Penn State went up 5.5 points to 152.5 and Iowa went up four points to 90. Oklahoma State went up 1 to 85.5. 

Iowa has nine wrestlers ranked in the top 33 which would be an NCAA Qualifier. There are six Hawks ranked in the top eight that would be an All American this year.

In the individual rankings Joey Cruz shot up the rankings from #26 to #16 at 125. Much deserved.

Drake Ayala went from #3 to #2 at 133. #1 ranked Ryan Crookham from Lehigh has not competed because of an injury since December 20. 

The remaining weights stayed the same in the rankings.

The Hawks are back in action this Sunday, February 23 when they host Oklahoma State at 7:30 PM CST on BTN.
