We have another Big Ten border rivalry when the #2 Iowa Hawkeyes travel to take on #5 Minnesota at 8 PM Friday, February 14. The meet will be televised on BTN.

You can always count on an intense dual meet when these two teams clash.

The first to stand out on the Probable Lineups is the return of #3 Jacori Teemer at 157 to face  #8 Tommy Askey or Charlie Millard and Nelson Brands at 174.

We see both #11 Patrick Kennedy and Nelson Brands listed at 174 to face #20 Clayton Whiting. Brands is 2-1 on the season and last competed against Bellarmine on November 15 when he won by a tech fall.

The match that I have been looking forward to is at 184 between #4 Max McEnelly vs. #8 Gabe Arnold. Both are redshirt freshmen and I am expecting a good match.

Minnesota has two wrestlers listed at 125 and 157.

Should Cooper Flynn compete at 125 Minnesota will be favored at 125, 141, 184 and Hwt. As with the Nebraska meet this could come down to bonus points.

I am expecting an entertaining dual meet that will be fun to watch with a fired up Iowa Hawkeye team.

Let’s get ‘em in the middle.
