The Iowa Hawkeyes return home to face Northwestern at 1 PM Sunday, February 16 in sold out legendary Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
The Hawks looked very good in defeating #5 Minnesota 23-11 last night. That was the best performance by Iowa this season.
Northwestern topped Wisconsin 27-11 last night by winning seven of ten bouts.
The highest ranked Northwestern wrestler is #9 Trevor Chumbley at 157 to face Jacori Teemer.
There is also a good matchup at 125 with #26 Joey Cruz vs. #32 Dedrick Navarro .
Northwestern has three wrestles listed at 141. Chris Cannon competed last night with an 8-2 decision over Brock Bobzien of Wisconsin.
Iowa is favored in nine weights with 141 being a tossup so a shutout is in play for the Hawks for Fan Appreciation Day.
