It was a good weekend for our incoming recruits.
Bo Bassett was at District 6 AA in Altoona on Friday and Saturday. Bo did not waste any time by getting a pin in :11, :12 and :18 before getting a tech fall in the finals in 1:15.
Leister Bowling won a 4A state title at the Colorado State Tournament in Denver. Bowling was 4-0 with a fall and two tech falls. This is the second state title for Bowling.
Leo DeLuca won the New Jersey/New York National Prep Qualifier at Blair on Saturday with a pin in 1:12.
Paolo Ciatta placed second at the CHSAA Sectional Championships in Staten Island.
Isabella Gonsalez won the 26-team Area Championships with four first period pins.
At State Duals on Monday Harvey Ludington had a :42 pin over Rustam Olimov(Brick Township) and a :07 pin over Mario Camargo Palacios(Jackson Liberty). At Sectional Finals on Thursday Ludington pinned Gavin Barker(Hopewell Valley) in :21.
