Our incoming recruits had a great high school season that finished up over the weekend.

Of our eight incoming recruits we had five state champions, a National Prep champ, a state runner-up and one wrestler that was out with injury.

From the Recruiting Class of 2026 Bo Bassett won a PIAA AA state title at 145 lbs. Bo was 4-0 with three tech falls and a pin in the finals.

For the season Bo was 52-0 with 29 tech falls and 20 pins. 

Over his two year high school career Bo is 126-0 with 76 tech falls and 38 pins.

Owen McMullen missed his junior season with an injury. He is working hard in rehab and will be ready to go for next season.

In the Class of 2025 Leo DeLuca won a National Prep title at 120 lbs. with an 18-1 tech fall in the finals. DeLuca had a dominating season and has a great future.

Harvey Ludington won a New Jersey state title at 190 with a 5-0 record with three tech falls and a major decision. For the season Ludington was 41-0 with 38 wins by bonus. Ludington also recorded quite a few pins in under :30 with several being at :10.

Ludington was a three-time New Jersey state champion and four-time finalist with a 154-3 record.

Ty Miller won an Ohio state title at 175 by going 4-0 with a fall and a tech fall. Miller finished the season with a 21-6 record competing in the toughest high school wrestling schedule in the country.

Jarell Miller won an Ohio state title at 190 with a 4-0 record with two tech falls and a major decision. Jarell was 24-3 for the season.

Leister Bowling won his second straight state title at 175 lbs. and was a three-time finalist. 

Bowling won the Luther Open in Decorah, Iowa on November 9 at 174 lbs. in the Fresh/Soph division with two tech falls and two decisions over college competition.

Paolo Ciatto was a state runner-up at 170 at the CHSAA(Catholic High School Athletic Association) State Championships

Our two incoming Iowa Women’s Wrestling won state titles.

Isabella Gonzales and Samantha Sachs won California state titles in dominating fashion. Gonzales won the 120 lbs. title by going 5-0 with five pins. Sachs won the title at 130 with a 5-0 record with four pins and a tech fall.

Congratulations to our incoming recruits on a great season of high school wrestling.

Now that the regular season has been completed I will continue to follow all of our incoming recruits on the freestyle circuit.
