The Iowa Women’s Wrestling team will be looking to defend their title at the NCWWC National Championships in Coralville, Iowa on Friday and Saturday, March 7-8.

Iowa should be considered a strong favorite to win the team title again this year. In the final NWCA NCAA Women’s Coaches Poll of the season Iowa was ranked #1 with 130 points followed by North Central at 88 and McKendree with 74.

Iowa has six wrestlers as the #1 seed: Rianne Murphy(103), Brianna Gonzalez(117), Macey Kilty(145), Kennedy Blades(160), Kylie Welker(180), and Jaycee Foeller(207).

All fifteen of the Hawk wrestlers that qualified for NCWWC Nationals are seeded in the top seven.

Only ten wrestlers can score points for each team and only one wrestler is allowed to score in each weight class.

FloWrestling will have full coverage on their premium service and TrackWrestling will have updated results and brackets.

Tickets for the NCWWC National Championships are still available at https://www.ncwwc.com/
