The Iowa Women’s Wrestling program announced that Harlee Hiller of Evanston(Loyola Academy), Illinois signed to become a Hawkeye.
Hiller is ranked #8 at 115 lbs. and #4 for seniors in the April 3 National High School Girls Rankings. She is projected to compete at 117 lbs. at Iowa.
Hiller is the fifth recruit to sign for the Iowa Women’s Wrestling Recruiting Class of 2025.
She was a two-time state champion and four-time place winner in high school.
Last weekend Hiller won the title at 115 lbs. at the Girls High School National Recruiting Showcase at the US Open in Las Vegas. She was 4-0 with four pins.
At the U20 World Team Trials in April Hiller placed fourth at 53 kg/116 lbs. In the Consolation Semifinals Hiller pinned incoming Iowa recruit Isabella Marie Gonzales who is also in the Recruiting Class of 2025. Gonzales is ranked #1 at 120 lbs. and #3 P4P in the country.
In 2023 Hiller won gold at 49 kg/108 lbs. at the U17 Pan Ams in Mexico.
