We have a huge weekend of wrestling for our incoming Iowa Wrestling recruits. Keyan Hernandez will compete at the Montana State Tournament in Billings on Friday and Saturday.
Five of our incoming recruits will compete at Districts/Regionals/Sectionals to qualify for the State Tournament the following weekend. Dru Ayala, Jake Howell, Kael Voinovich, Leister Bowling and Cadence Diduch will compete in the first step to becoming a state champion.
I have not found any results for Miguel Estrada this season. He is ranked #5 at 150 lbs. by MatScouts. I do see where Frontier is competing at CIF Central Section Division 1 at North High School in Bakersfield on Saturday. I will keep you posted.
Estrada has been chosen to represent the USA All-Star Team in the Pittsburgh Classic on Saturday, March 30. Estrada will face a member of the Pennsylvania All-Star team that has yet to be announced at 152 lbs.
Kiara Djoumessi and Naomi Simon won state titles last weekend at the Iowa Girls State Wrestling Championships.
