The University of Iowa Women’s Wrestling program announced that five wrestlers were named to the Spring 2024 Dean’s List.
To qualify a student must have a minimum 3.5 GPA on 12 semester hours or more of graded coursework.
With the commitment to wrestling it is impressive that we had wrestlers achieve this academic honor.

Nanea Estrella (Sr.) Makawao, Hawaii – Marketing
Cali Leng (Fr.) Marysville, Ohio – Business
Lilly Luft (Fr.) Charles City, Iowa – Pre-Physical Therapy
Emmily Patneaud (Sr.) Newark, California – Elementary Education
Danni Swihart (Fr.) Jackson, Michigan – Pre-professional Veterinary Medicine
The Iowa Women’s Wrestling program had great success in the first year of the program. Iowa won NWCA National Duals and the NCWWC national title.
