There were a few incoming Iowa Wrestling recruits competing this weekend.
Harvey Ludington did not spend a lot of time on the mat recently. On Thursday night he pinned his opponent in the Southern Regional dual meet in :10. At the TCNJ Pride Tournament in Trenton, New Jersey on Saturday he pinned his quarterfinals opponent in :38 and followed up with a :44 pin in the semifinals. In the finals Ludington won by an 18-3 tech fall in 1:09. That is taking care of business in a hurry.
Leister Bowling won the 175 lbs. title at the 88-team North Colorado Christmas Tournament in Greeley. Bowling was 6-0 with four tech falls and a pin on the day in the first competition that I have found results for him this season.
Paolo Ciatto was home at Iona Prep competing in the CHSAA-NYC Dual Meet Qualifiers(New York State Catholic High School Athletic Association) on Saturday. I have not found any results at this time. I will post results as soon as they become available.
Our remaining recruits did not have anything scheduled this weekend.
We will have recruits competing next weekend between the holidays.
