Former Iowa Hawkeye All-American Bobby Telford will be competing in Russia this weekend. Telford is among a group of seven wrestlers from the United States that will compete at the 2016 Intercontinental Cup in Khasajvurt, Russia. Telford will compete on Sunday in the two-day event.
Telford was a three-time All-American (2012, ‘14, ‘15) at Hwt for the Iowa Hawkeyes out of Hockessin, Delaware and is a member of the Hawkeye Wrestling Club and Titan Mercury Wrestling Club.
Kyven Gadson of Iowa State is also a member of the team. Gadson was a State Champion for Waterloo East (Waterloo, IA) and an NCAA National Champion for Iowa State in 2015.
