The Iowa Hawkeyes won eight of ten weights in winning Soldier Salute with 251.5 points at Xtreme Arena in Coralville. The Hawks had a good two-day tournament with bonus points and noticeable improvement up and down the lineup.

Winning titles for the Hawks: Drake Ayala (125), Brody Teske (133), Real Woods (141), Caleb Rathjen (149), Jared Franek (157), Michael Caliendo (165), Gabe Arnold (174), and Zach Glazier (197).

I will go through each weight in a blog tomorrow.

Iowa will compete next with a dual meet at Nebraska on Friday, January 12 to kick off the new year of competition in the Big Ten.
