The Iowa Women’s Wrestling team received a commitment from Mia Goodwin of Virginia Beach, Virginia (Floyd E. Kellam HS). Goodwin will be the seventh member of the Iowa Women’s Wrestling Recruiting Class of 2024.

Goodwin is ranked #29 at 110 lbs. in the National Girls High School Rankings

Goodwin placed 7th at 107 lbs. at the NHSCA High School Nationals in April. Competing for Floyd E. Kellam High School Goodwin placed second at 107 at the Virginia Girls State Tournament this season.

The Hawks continue to stack their roster with recruits especially in the light weights. Iowa will return a large portion of a young team that won the NCWWC national title this year in their first year of competition.

The Recruiting Class of 2024 will strengthen an already powerful program.
